Dublin City Centre
We'll be in Dublin for 3 full days (arriving on one of those ridiculously early 5am flights!) in July. We'd like to be very centrally located so that we can walk to points of interest - lots of walking is fine, but we'd like it to be practical (i.e. not walking in 30 min from an outlying area etc) and safe. Love to be in an area with restaurants, historical sites, and a little shopping. Thinking of staying in the Temple Bar area -- good? I know it's busy but with only 3 days, we'd like to be in the middle of things, everything easy to get to as we won't have a car and not a lot of time.
Does this seems a good neighborhood for these ideas? Public transportation is an option as well, but prefer walking to explore. Thanks!
