How can I use phone or ineternet in Japan?

by /bio/serasera »

I know there is a kind of prepaid SIM card which is available for foreigners. It is very cheap and fast. U-mobile LTE prepaid data SIM.  i) 1.5 GB plan  15days  2,980 yen ii) 3.0 GB plan  30days  3,980 yen 100Mbps daily limited. No activation need. Just set APN. Maybe you can have a try. http://japan-sim.net https://prepaidsim.stores.jp/#!/ There are also some other plans. http://rental.cdjapan.co.jp/ https://www.sakuramobile.jp/   Hope this helps.

I am going to have an educational travel in japan for about 3 weeks. The last time I went Japan I used some free Wi-Fi spots but the signal was really bad that time.

so~! Is there a Temporary SIM card in Japan?
OR Wi-Fi Router~

Better be pre-paid and 1G+ data plan.
I am using 4G phone and I would like upload some pictures on my instagram.

Thank you very much~~

Our verizon phone worked in Japan. I think we paid $25 for the 2 weeks we were there--I'd have to check to be sure on the cost.  Turned out we didn't use it, but it was nice to know it was available had we really needed it.

Hi, I was in Japan last month. As soon as get off the airport in Tokyo or Kyoto, approach information desk to look for Global wifi. It is a moblie wifi device you can rent for just $10 / day. The have the best customer service.
