Moderate hotels in Lisbon

by /bio/judydoody »

Would anyone be able to please recommend some moderately priced hotels in the city center section of Lisbon? I would be most grateful.

Hi Judy,

I reached out to our Lisbon author, and he recommended the following hotel:

You'll find other choices in that section, as well.

I don't think you can get more central! Have a wonderful trip.

We were in Lisbon earlier this month, and stayed at the Principe Lisboa Hotel, which is a block and a half from Sao Sebastiao metro station (direct connection to airport) and 3 blocks from Saldanha metro. About €50 a night, very nice modern rooms, great staff, and good breakfast. Huge Corte Ingles shopping at Sao Sebastiao station, and the Gulbenkian Museum is practically across the street (although you have to walk 3 blocks to get to the entrance.)

And...unlike places we've stayed in Lisbon's relatively flat. Relatively.
