You may want to post this under Boston, as well.

Until February 23, residents and visitors of the U.S. East Coast who are interested in broadening their understanding of the Qur'an, Islam and Islamic art may wish to visit Boston's Museum of Fine Arts, for an exhibition entitled "Sacred Pages: Conversations About the Qur'an". The exhibition draws on the museum's collection of loose pages from copies of the Qur'an, showcasing 25 examples and illustrating their significance not just as sacred and masterful works of art but also how they are interpreted by individual Muslims living in the Boston area today. Made as early as the eighth and as recent as the 20th century, these beautiful works of Arabic calligraphy were created in Turkey, Morocco, Egypt and Iran. Most interesting is the comments and reactions to the pages by invited members of Boston's Islamic communities.

P.S. Good luck with the new series of guidebooks...the absence of any African title is conspicuous however :-).
