Don't shop at Royal Jewels in Turks and Caicos!

by leylbell »

I was in Turks and Caicos earlier this year and  I bought a piece of  jewelry from Royal Jewels.  They promised me a warranty, if there was any problem with the ring I bought, they would have it fixed or replaced.  Well, for the past month now, I have been trying to reach the owner, because the stone fell out of the ring, and I  lost it.  The owner whom I bought the ring from, does not care about the problem, he does not come to the phone, and my emails are ignored.  I have left countless of messages for him asking for a replacement or a new ring.  I even mailed them back the setting ( minus the stone) and all I get are crickets!

This is obviously a very distressing and frustrating situation for me.  It is like I threw money into the garbage.  I do not know how they conduct business but it certainly isn't the right way.

I wanted to put this post out there so people can be aware...while Turks and Caicos is a beautiful island, avoid Royal Jewels, do not shop at this store!  Terrible customer service!

I appreciate your posting and am sorry that they are dropping the ball.  How ever, I was getting ready to ask if anyone suggested Turks and Caicos for a destination.  Could you let me know where to stay if I go?  Is Grand Turk the coolest place there?  Is it fairly a safe place?  We hav been to Grand Cayman and felt safe there and it was beautiful.

thanks!
