Turks and Caicos in September

by /bio/bambam »

Hello Everyone,

Planning to go to Turks and Caicos from september 11-17. Even though  the dates stated fall within the official hurricane season for atlantic ocean, as I read in traveling forums, there is a rare possibility that this particular island might hit by a storm or major hurricane. I would like to hear your personal experience if you ever travel in september or in general to Turks and Caicos? Any advice appreciated.

Thanks

Bam

Turks and Caicos is an archipelago of 40 low-lying coral islands in the Atlantic Ocean, a British Overseas Territory southeast of the Bahamas. The gateway island of Providenciales, known as Provo, is home to expansive Grace Bay Beach, with luxury resorts, shops and restaurants. Scuba-diving sites include a 14-mile barrier reef on Provo’s north shore and a dramatic 2,134m underwater wall off Grand Turk island.
