Don't give up on the Ukraine!

by GG245 »

I've been to Ukraine several times this year and found that the exchange rate is fanstastic for the American dollar. Kiev is a beautiful city and I would like to see you discuss this destination on your show sometime. I even traveled south to Kherson and was perfectly safe traveling in this part of the country. Just the eastern portion needs to be avoided now.

There are lots of other places to visit in Ukraine except Eastern part, which is quite dangerous nowadays.
I found a great article about local places of interest https://qubit-labs.com/30-places-visit-ukraine-spotted-locals/, and I realy regret I missed the opportunity to climb that tall monument in the center of Kyiv.

I love Ukraine. Esp the Carpathians. I had a great vacation in the small village Lastivka last year, booked a cottage on https://en.taor-karpaty.com/ . The area is extremely picturesque; the mountains are covered with dense forests, there are many transparent mountain rivers, mineral water springs and babbling waterfalls, the air is fresh and healing. Tasty cuisine and pleasant service.

Ukraine is great, no doubts. Additionally, the Ukrainians themselves have a good reputation, not only from the cultural perspective but work ethic as well. They tend to be hardworking, communicative, creative and responsible. Here is an interesting article about it: https://www.daxx.com/article/cultural-differences-ukraine-developers
