Does anybody know if visa on arrival is available at Thailand-Cambodia border? I plan to visit Cambodia from Thailand by bus next year and doing some researches.
https://www.evisa.gov.kh/ - This official site does not mention anything about Thailand-Cambodia border
https://www.cambodia-visa.com/visa-on-arrival - this site says it is possible but not sure if it is correct?
https://www.tourismcambodia.com/tripplanner/essential-information/visa-passport.htm - this does not mention as well.
can someone help? Thanks
Yes, you can get the visa on arrival in the land border, but usually, the queue is big and the Cambodian officers are quite corrupt, so I would advise you to get the e-visa before. It's very easy to get the e-visa, just go to the website, https://www.evisa.gov.kh/, pay the tax and print two copies of the visa. It works very well and it was very fast in the immigration queue. I traveled by train from Bangkok to Siem Reap and came back by bus. I have a complete post about how to get to Cambodia but it's in Portuguese (sorry rs). If you need any help in how to do this trip, please let me know.
