West Virginia Festivals and more...

by /bio/caroline »

West Virginia may have more than it's share of festivals.  They have every thing from a Bluegrass Festival in July, to a Glass Fest also in July.  Here is a list of the West Virginia Festivals if you're thinking of going.  It should be nice and cool there in the summer months too.

West Virginia is suppose to be 80% wooded land.  Almost a million acres in the Potomac Highlands lie within the Monongahela National Forest.  If you're a nature lover, West Virginia is your place.

According to the WV Chamber of Commerce, in the Eastern Panhandle, Charles Town has numerous African-American heritage sites including a historic church and school.  Of course, it could be the Kaymoor Miners Trail that interests you too or the Narrow Gage Trail .  If neither of those hits your fancy, try looking at the Whitewater Rafting.
