Mexico is a perennially popular destination -- just don't go there in the dead heat of the summer because it's hot, hot, hot. Those seeking a fiesta may want their travel to coincide with Cinco de Mayo.
As you might imagine, its turquoise water is beautiful but this place has much more than just stunning beaches. Curaçao, the Portuguese name of this island oasis, means "heart" and the locals show a lot of it. Not only that -- the food is good, the architecture makes you feel as though you're in Europe and best of all . . . there's Carnival.
Big sales are happening to far-flung Australia, New Zealand and Japan, plus we've dug up some decent savings on summer routes to Europe for under a grand.
The Mediterranean-style 232-room Hotel Hershey is set on a hill overlooking town. As old-world as the hotel is, it's managed to be edgy too, marrying the must-have spa concept with the very heart and soul of Hershey: chocolate.

From Ira: "We waited until the sun went down before we went up to the Old City. Carcassone has been a tourist destination for a long, long time. This is not necessarily bad."
From cmb57: "I'm a 29-year-old woman planning to travel in South Africa on my own for about 18-19 days in October. I may take buses or possibly check out a backpacker bus, but I'm looking into other options as well. I'm really into adventure activities, everything from paragliding to surfing to dolpin swimming to quad bikes, and want to take advantage of those kinds of activities."
From Jess travel: "We are still working on planning our trip and the dates work out so that we will be in Rothenburg during the first weekend in Sept., which is the Imperial City Festival. Has anyone been to the Festival?"
From jaykid1: "I think everyone should know about Sandals Resorts. My wife and I had our honeymoon at the Grand Antigua Resort and it was the worst show of service I had ever seen."
From gdlamb: "I will be in London taking a graduate course from July 8 to July 22. I want to see a bit more of Europe before I return. I know that I want to go to Paris and Amsterdam, maybe Rome. If I had a couple of extra weeks and a limited budget, how should I go about planning my extra time in Europe?"
