Like a bag of jellybeans, the staff at Frommer's comes in many different flavors: straight, gay, married, single, banana. Whether you're planning a honeymoon or are simply in the mood for a romantic vacation, here are a few of our suggestions.
After Hurricane Wilma rolled over Mexico's Caribbean beaches, the country took advantage of a bad thing and made it better. The restoration project in Cancun widened the beaches and made them whiter, cleaner and even more tourist-friendly. Hotels took the chance to update their looks. In all, the government funded the $20 million project, that's just how critical tourism is to Mexico. And, as expected, deals follow the full opening of the Cancun beach project.
We won't sugar coat it, traveling to Italy in the spring can be costly, both in terms of your airfare and your accommodation. But don't despair -- every euro spent is an investment in your cultural educational and each meal is like eating food for the very first time. Plus there are affordable options out there, if you know where to look.
Check out these deals on flights to Rio de Janeiro, major cities across Europe, Beijing, Bangkok and points across the Caribbean.

From alaskac3: "My family and I will be visiting Argentina for 3 months at the end of this year. It appears difficult, but not impossible, to buy a car there for the vacation, but what about selling it afterwards? Any information on buying and selling a car would be appreciated."
From LulaGirl: "Can anyone help me with phone card info? I will be traveling in St. Petersburg & Moscow. I have run into problems in the past in other countries where my phone card did not work on hotel phones -- but only worked on pay phones. I'd like to avoid that problem. If someone could help me to find a card that will allow me to call the USA from Russia that would be grand!"
From klwdisney: "My husband and I are going on our first carribbean vacation to Breezes Bahamas in 39 days to be exact! We were talked into it by friends that have since backed out due to a financial issue. We felt okay about going on our own, knowing that the hotel was fun and clean but in need of updating. But lately I'm reading very scary reviews with photos that paint a terrifying picture. A sickening mold-and-coconut smell throughout the resort, rooms with stains and overwhelming mold, bugs, hallways and pools with vomit, unattentive staff, terrible food, etc. Can anyone please reassure me that we're going to be okay at this resort?"
From lademps: "Could anyone offer a suggestion for a Sunday Brunch in Savannah? We will be visiting in early October and welcome any suggestions on dining favorites. We probably would not want to do all-you-can eat type buffets. Thank you!"
From whitbyguy: "I hear that Punta Del Este is attracting more and more gay visitors? However, I can't find a lot of information to confirm if this is true or not. Has anyone visited Punta Del Este recently - can you confirm if it is a gay-friendly destination, and recommend any good hotels? Any advice would be appreciated."
