We've said it often enough, but it bears repeating -- when it gets hot in the Caribbean in summer, the deals just get hotter. If you like warm weather, consider some of the fabulous deals (one for an average of $49.85 per night, including air) that we've scrounged out from many offers and polished up for you.
As a veteran of a biking trip through Switzerland, I can assure anyone interested that cycling on a flat terrain is the best (or at least the easiest) way to go. That's why I recommend a visit to the Netherlands above any other. But, you don't have to go abroad to find good terrain or good value pricing, either -- there are plenty of trips available in North America as well.
As usual, we've plumbed the depths to come up with a hefty roster of the best bargains for cruise vacations currently available. Surely you'll find something to suit your taste: you can head off to the wilds of Alaska, dive in the Caribbean, skirt along the coast of Europe and more!
We've got seven pithy items to keep you up to date on the latest happenings across the cruise industry. Get the skinny on new low-carb menus, take advantage of Amtrak's rail and cruise offer, save on stays in Seattle before or after your cruise and more.

From Julie Barclay: "I am considering using a luggage shipping company for international travel to Paris so I don't have to deal with luggage during my trip over. Has anyone used either Virtual Bellhop or Luggage Free before? If so, what was your experience like?"
From Maryln J Tetzlaff: "A few weeks ago, I responded to an e-mail regarding Peru. I did mention that the tour company-Marnella Tours (www.marnellatours.com) had not satisfied us and had not responded. I am VERY HAPPY to say after that posting, I received a very nice letter from the owner of the company. He apologized and offered us money off our next tour with his company. I just want everyone to know that it is very worth while to let the owners know about a problem as in this case the owner didn't know until I posted on Frommer's."
From Michelle Moran: "I am interested in purchasing an electronic translator for English to German, preferably a very slim handheld that will also pronouce the words. Does anyone have recommendations as to brand or other experience with handheld translators, positive or negative, that you would be willing to share?"
From Christopher Winters: "Can anyone help me with locating a site where you can book Starwood hotels (Sheraton, Westin, W etc) at low or discounted rates? It was mentioned in Budget Travel last year, but I now can't find the info. It's not the Starwood.com site."
From Susan Bluestone: "We booked and then cancelled two nights in Savannah GA with Savannah-Lodging.net. It indicated the seller was Clubhouse Savannah, that we could cancel 72 hours prior to arrival, and that it would appear as Cheapest Deals on our credit card, It was cancelled 12/22/03 for a 4/7/04 reservation and appeared on our credit card as TELEGENISYS INDIA. All they will do is give us a voucher for the amount. Caution: beware who you deal with!"
