Right now, four airlines say they're making it easier to get away for July 4. Plus, we've also got a car rental deal from Hertz, and some "alternative" July 4 activities (one's in France).
With the hustle and bustle of Bangkok, the majesty of the Grand Palace, and the peaceful sublimity of the Phang-Nga Bay, Thailand never fails to amaze. And now four providers are making it affordable to visit this summer and fall.
Whoops, they've done it again. The folks at 1-800 Fly Europe have unleashed more fall fares to Europe, and as usual, they've got great rates. These prices are a higher than the fall fares we saw from them in May -- in some cases, they're $50 higher than Fly Europe's May fall fares. But they still whomp the competition.
This pretty little town sits at the head of the Chesapeake Bay, picturesque for its lighthouse, its Victorian-era tree-lined Union Avenue, its numerous antique shops and its amazing view of the place where the Susquehanna River becomes the Chesapeake Bay.

From nadine tritle: "If anyone is looking for a good and inexpensive Spanish School, I attended Montana Linda in Orosi and really loved it. Firstly, it was CHEAP and secondly, the classes were really quality. I had one on one classes for no additional charge, i stayed with a host family, that treated me better than my own."
From Cecil Murray :"My wife and I took a voluntary bump from a Delta flight in April from Mexico and were each given a $400 'Delta Dollars' voucher for traveling a day later. We decided to use them for a trip from Raleigh to San Juan, Puerto Rico this September, and went to the Delta.com website to buy the tickets. Low and behold, the $399 roundtrip price quoted on their website could not be bought with 'Delta Dollars.'"
From Jim Leggett: "Our American Eagle flight from Charlotte to Chicago departed late due to storms in the Chicago area. Then en route the aircraft made an emergency fuelling stop at Springfield MO taking up considerable time. "The ONE toilet on the plane backed up, so was unsuable. We and other rather desperate passengers asked to be let off to visit a toilet during the fuel stop, but were refused as there was no security. (Security, to heed the call of nature. What next?) OK, so we should never have had that extra soda!"
From Robbie Blackford: "I'll be visiting my daughter in Washington D.C. over 4th of July, I really want to see the fireworks; she refuses to deal with the masses on or near the Mall. Does anyone know of a rooftop restaurant or bar where we can watch the fireworks?"
From P.Stewart: "I traveled with my wife to India in January without a tour agency, and hope to save others who want to do the same a whole lot of time with the following info."
