Halloween is one of those holidays when everything can seem so predictable--the trick-or-treating, the doling out of candy, the same old costumes--so it's nice when someone comes up with a different idea. We can thank the innovative people at Bedandbreakfast.com for doing just that, offering a room at the inn from just $89 for two persons on Halloween Night.
Budget carrier Alaska Airlines is pruning the cost of flights to Mexico for travel now through December 18, but you must purchase by October 17.
If you book early, you're likely to get one of the incredible rates being offered now for winter cruises on Disney Cruise Lines. The three-night cruises start at just $419 per adult, $199 per child.

From Georgigirl: "Please tell me the cheapest buffets in the Disney and Epcot parks by summer 2002 standards. I read a neat article from Frommer's last year on prices, but cannot locate it. We are looking under $20 pp for adults and good savings for children. The 'guys' are starving around 2:00 p.m. and this way maybe it will fill 'em up so they'll last through dinner?"
From Tatiana: "I stayed at Sandals Ocho Rios in December 2001. I was extremely disappointed with the overall condition of the facility and the property. Prior to my trip, I looked at the website and brochures for Sandals, which described the resort as a 5-star accommodation. When I arrived at the resort, I was shocked to find that the resort was run down and dirty, especially the floors, carpets, walls, and furniture. The resort is in desperate need of remodelling and renovations."
From Bill R: ""Aloha! Recently, several of my guest comment cards have indicated that guests were not happy with how my vacation rental condo kitchens are equipped, but I did not receive any specific data."
From Sylvan: "I was always a little apprehensive about visiting Mexico. Cancun was good for a first time visit though. It is very American in many ways while still giving you the ability to sample Mexican culture."
