From Scottid: "I'll be in Iceland December 23rd-27th -- quite suddenly all as a solo traveler. I'm staying at the Hotel Borg right in the center of Reykjavik. I've never been to Iceland before. I do wonder about dining by myself all the time, and I would love to do do something 'Christmassy' on Christmas Day, sharing at least part of the day with someone."
From chickpea: "We will be in Chicago in a few weeks for a girls trip and would like to know some great places for cocktails. We are in our 40's and have done the Signature Room and Trump Towers. Martinis and good wine are usually on our radar. Can anyone help?"
From PHEymont: "A user on Flyertalk has posted a Google Doc spreadsheet of (as far as he knows...and he seems to know a lot!) all the U.S. issued credit and debit cards available with EMV chip-and-signature and chip-and-PIN. The list includes the issuer, the card, the foreign exchange fee and annual fee if any, and more."
From carlar53: We would like to book a trip to China but are afraid of being denied a visa due to my husband having 2 felony counts against him for not returning a rental car on time in 1987. He spent 6 months in jail for Grand Theft Auto plus paid money to the rental company. My question is does anyone know of the reasons for visas being denied? We would hate to book and then be denied a visa."
