If you want to fly Northwest Airlines within the contiguous 48 states or to Canada between now and February 15, 2003, you have until November 30, 2002, to buy your tickets at a discount. You could fly roundtrip from Miami to Vancouver, for instance, for only $198, or New York to Seattle for $248.
Some folks down in Orlando have been trying to get the word out for years--"this town isn't just about theme parks, we've got culture, too." And it's true, as I can attest, having seen their symphony, ballet and some of the many museums gracing the city and surrounding area. In keeping with a national trend of growing interest in culture, the Orlando Visitors Bureau has come out with an African-American Travel Guide, highlighting an array of historical information, services, events, and cultural and entertainment opportunities there.

From Terri Barrera: "Just got back (today) from 7 nt stay at Outrigger Reef on the Beach. I just loved it. Hotel tastefully decorated and restaurants/shops/pool all conveniently arranged. Nice large laundry facility in basement. (There should be a law against doing laundry on vacation!) Great direct access to Waikiki beach. Upgraded to oceanview room with a lovely view of the ocean and Diamondhead. Room decorated in pretty blue with white accents. Room had a coffemaker, refrigerator, safe, iron/ironing board. Hotel kept very clean, even though everyone was tracking in sand everywhere. I would recommend to anyone! It's in a great location for walking to tour bus stops/shopping/restaurants. I hope you have a great visit in Oahu, I know we did."
From Liz S.: "Just wanted to let everyone know about Sarah Ragsdale of Explore Charleston Tours. If you're looking for lots of great information and interesting history she is the tour guide for you! She offers private tours of the downtown area as well as the plantations."
From Pamela Randall: "I'd like some help and info! I'm taking a group of Foriegn Exchange students to D.C. for a 4 day trip. We need info on a hotel that has a big pool, and breakfast with in 15 miles of downtown. Also info on fun thing for teens to do, cheap places to eat, etc..."
From Eric Dykstra: "Well what a time I had in NYC. My father went on business to NYC, so I went with him. We stayed in Woodbridge, NJ at a hotel. I took the South Jersey Line to Penn Station. You don't know what to expect of NYC until you actually step foot in it."
From Nadia Bertin: "When the Frommer's refers to a ranch, it's a matter of trust. That's why I candidly chose the Running R Ranch for my group. NEVER AGAIN. The head of the ranch, a German women, was very cold with us and even if I had made it clear on phone that we wanted an experienced ride, we were put in the middle of a beginner ride and had the most boring time of our stay in Texas. Very frustrating."
