There's a new Kind on the European budget carrier block offering certain one-way fares for as little as $20.
One of our favorite cruise booking companies, Moment's Notice, is back again, this time with a spiffy seven-night Western Caribbean cruise where the prices start at just $488 per person--and in high season, no less. It's a significant gesture to those of us who want to get away midwinter to warm up in the tropical sun.
I love France Vacations for its moderate prices and its innovative thinking. Right now, they're offering several packages to the Riviera, Paris, London and Rome, starting from as little as $599, roundtrip airfare, five hotel nights, and more included for departures out of NYC.

From Sarah Heath: "My advice would be to avoid going through Paris and CDG airport when in route to another city. Air France lost my luggage there on my outbound flight (it didn't catch up with me for a week and I was on a cruise) and I found the personnel at immigration and security the rudest I have encountered anywhere in the world. On my return my luggage made it but I, again, experienced the 'attitude' of the ground personnel. In addition - this airport is extremely difficult to navigate around in."
From Ray Harvey: "We have been fishing out of La Paz for the past ten years. It is definitely different than Cabo. Much more relaxed and a slower pace. Hotels are comparable and food is good if you look around."
From Karen W.: "We are planning our first anniversary at Sandals and would like to know more from people who have experienced their resorts. We have stayed at other all-inclusive chains and would like to know if Sandals really is more luxurious and offers more activities."
From Martin Horsfield: "Due to time restriction, we won't be making it to the Great Smokies on our trip. We thought instead of going to the South Cumberland State Recreation Area and Fals Creek Falls. Is it worth it, how close to each other are they, and how long would you recommend we take to look around? Travelling in March, not averse to a bit of camping."
From Childcare Lady: "I've been doing research on Tahiti, after hearing/reading about some good travel deals. Last night, I read on a site that very few hotels in the south pacific have room accomodations for 4 people (2 adults-2 kids). Has anyone taken kids to Tahiti, Bora Bora, ect... where did you stay, impressions?"
