Viva Resorts down in the Caribbean is hauling out its value-added all-inclusive rates and the "Kids Stay, Play and Eat FREE" programs once again, just in time to fight off that winter chill. With the rates for adults starting as flow as $105 per person in winter, $88 in spring, it's ideal for family getaways. What's more, the resorts are all-inclusive.
Mount Tremblant is Quebec's premier ski resort, and the ultra swank Fairmont Hotel there is considered the most fashionable place to stay, if you can afford it. The mountain has been rated the number one resort in North American by Ski magazine for the sixth year in a row. The Fairmont Tremblant is the only hotel on the resort to offer full service amenities as well as ski-in, ski-out access.
If you act quickly, you can reap a $250 per couple savings and have a chance to win a free vacation on first-class packages to Italy with Globus Tours and British Airways. If you're an AARP member, you also get an additional $50 discount. But you have to book by December 20.

From Terri C.: "Hello to all. Here is the update of the travel group that started from a discussion on these boards. The group was formed in October, and currently we have about 70 members. We have been running a poll for a general consensus of where the members would like to travel. As mentioned before, this is a membership site for group travel only. This is not for companion travel arrangements. The poll is favoring Sicily first, Italy second and Spain in third place."
From Ruth Bauer: "Overall, I had a good vacation, but my post is going to include the good, the bad and the ugly because I want to spare my fellow traveler from my many bad experiences."
From Sebastian Wong: "We stayed at Antica Locanda Solferino (recommended by Frommer's Italy Guide) in Milan, Italy this past trip we took. We have an extremely disappointing experience with this hotel. First of all, we were totally mislead by the fancy discriptions printed in Frommer's Guide and the hotel's own website. We did not even find out the hotel is only a 2-star establishment until after our arrival."
From Dayanara Guerra: "I stayed at Viva Dominicus 2 years ago and it was really great. The rooms were lovely and either faced the beach or the gardens which are beautiful and have a pond. We had a family reunion at the hotel and we could not have had a better time."
From Jim B: "I just spent a wonderful week in Eureka Springs. What a great little tourist town! We tried two of the wonderful bed and breakfasts and both were great! One was a collection of old wooden cabooses in a heavily wooded area just north of town, the other a restored Victorian in the heart of the downtown village."
