Fiji's Best Paradise Escapes for Honeymoons

Fiji's Best Exclusive Paradise Escapes
Fiji is an island country in the South Pacific that's plenty far from the rest of civilization—about 1,100 miles north of New Zealand. With more than 332 islands and over 500 islets, there are plenty of secluded nooks for couples. Surrounded by white, sandy beaches and clear, turquoise water, Fiji is a natural choice for tourism because it offers unmatched privacy, a beautiful tropical-marine climate, and endless scenery.

Qamea Resort and Spa
Qamea Resort and Spa
For some, a favorite place to stay is the charming, old South Seas–style at Qamea Island Resort and Spaset along Qamea’s white sugar sand beach. More luxurious still are the Two Honeymoon Bures specifically designed for honeymooners and Three Royal Beach Houses with their own private plunge pools. Kerosene lanterns romantically light the 16m-high (52-ft.) thatched roof of Qamea’s main building at night. Total bliss awaits you at Qamea. (Qamea Island, off Taveuni; www.qamea.com)

Navutu Stars Resort
Navutu Stars Resort
Also in the Yasawa Islands, Navutu Stars Resort has a spa and yoga sessions in addition to fine food brought to you by its Italian owners. A salt-water pool compensates for a poor beach. The small boutique resort is spread along three bays off the coast of Figi. The italian owners fuse a Mediterranean feel with Fijian culture. (Yaqueta Island, the Yasawas; www.navutustarsfiji.com)
