Hawaii Sale from American Airlines
American Airlines (tel. 800/433-7300; www.aa.com) has lowered fares to Hawaii for fall/winter travel. Still not as low as those $340 fares from the East Coast that popped up recently, but they are currently the lowest available for many cities, at least for now. Sale fares are valid for travel through February 28, Mondays through Thursdays. All tickets must be booked by 11:59pm CT, November 5.
Tickets require a 3-night minimum stay. Avoid blackout dates for travel to Hawaii: November 15-19; December 14, 2012, through January 4, 2013. Prices are not valid for travel from Hawaii: November 23-27, 2012, and January 1-12, 2013.
