Airfare wars notwithstanding, some tour operators can bring you low roundtrip rates on trips to Europe for months at a time. Sunnyland Tours is making the eight-month promise of air-only specials to Amsterdam and Paris as low as $299 round trip, valid through May 31, 2003 from 15 U.S. gateways. This fall is a great time to visit either city, and next spring may find enjoying an April in Paris. Even in winter, the cities have so much to offer in cultural events that you won't worry much about the often-overcast and chilly weather.

Here are just a few examples of the hundreds of really cheap to moderately-priced roundtrip fares Sunny Land has on hand, all to either Amsterdam or Paris:

  • From New York JFK and Newark $299
  • From Boston, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. $315
  • From Chicago, Dallas, Detroit and Houston $360
  • From Miami or Phoenix $399
  • From Los Angeles and San Francisco $410

All flights are with connections in Germany, but there are no weekend surcharges. The maximum stay is 75 days, and tickets are non-refundable once issued. (Business-class upgrade to either Amsterdam or Paris costs a whopping $2,399 roundtrip.)

Airfares are subject to $120 for airport taxes and security surcharges. A $40 service and shipping charge also applies for each ticket. You can make these bookings only on www.europehotdeals.com. Payments are to be made only by Visa or MasterCard. The fares can be booked as late as three weeks prior to departure date, and all bookings are subject to availability.

Sunny Land, about which we have written before in this space, is a well-established (since 1964) tour operator, financially stable and a member of the USTOA $1 Million Consumer Protection Plan. (USTOA is the United States Tour Operators Association.)
