Bummed out about fuel prices to Europe this summer? In Paris, you'll stay at the pet-friendly Comfort Hotel Davout Nation, which offers wireless access in some rooms. Located in a residential area of the 20th arrondissement, the hotel is within walking distance of the Métro. Come September, the weather is still warm but the hordes of summer tourists have left. You can imagine much of the same in terms of visiting Nice in the fall: some say it's akin to Southern California's weather -- people are generally wearing sandals, swimming, and still donning summer attire.
