They don't have sales often, but when they do it's worth taking note (and taking a trip) because it really is a sale. Air Canada is reupping what is becoming an annual event--huge reductions on roundtrip airfare between the States and the Territories and beyond. The American dollar goes quite far these days in Canada, so you really do a lot while paying a little.

Sample roundtrip fares include:

Chicago to Montreal: $201
NYC/Newark to Vancouver: $352
Los Angeles to Halifax: $312
Philadelphia to Toronto: $156
Atlanta to Toronto: $201
Houston to Calgary: $322
Washington D.C. to Ottawa $158

A seven-day advance purchase is required for travel to most destinations valid through December 18. Tickets must be purchased by September 10, 2002, and prices listed do not include taxes and security fees. To find other fares, go to www.aircanada.com/specials/world_us where you can select your departure city to locate fares to Canadian and other international destinations. Complete rules and exemptions can be found here as well.
