November 26, 2003 -- As winter comes into full swing, prices to Europe are hitting new lows. $299 airfare is to be expected. But $299 for airfare plus six nights hotel? That's a holiday gift to travelers planning January and February vacations from packager Go-Today.

Now, here's the kicker: this whale of a sale lasts for only seven days, so you must purchase your trip by December 4 good for travel between Jan. 14 and Feb. 25 to get these great prices.
Of course, there are plenty of restrictions and catches on fares this low. For one thing, the super-low fares are only available for Tuesday and Wednesday departures, the least popular days of the week for flights to Europe. You'll generally be put up in closet-like rooms at decent, but very basic hotels. And remember you'll have to tack up to $150 in airline taxes and fees per person onto the fares.
