It's no secret that off-peak flying costs less, and Southwest's current deals stay true to form for their system wide sale. They're also offering discounted fares for anytime of the week within selected markets.
For travelers flying within the Midwest, $68 is the rock bottom price tag for roundtrip travel either to Chicago-Midway, St. Louis or Kansas City, MO from selected heartland gateways including Cleveland, Indianapolis, Omaha, Tulsa and others.
If your traveling within the Golden State, $78 is your starter fare for flights between Burbank, Los Angeles, Ontario (CA), or San Diego and Oakland, Sacramento, and San Jose.
For those who've have it in your mind to head to the Sunshine State, you can do so departing from over 20 different U.S. cities to either Ft. Lauderdale, Jacksonville, Orlando, Tampa Bay or West Palm Beach costing between $78-$158.
Southwest is also offering fares as low as $78 up to $198 roundtrip if you can fly on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Saturdays. If those days don't work for you, the price range jumps to between $88-$258 for flight segments on the other days of the week.
Roundtrip prices do not include up to $31 in taxes and airport/security fees. Tickets must be purchased at least a week in advance not later than August 1. An overnight stay is required, and travel must begin on or after August 5.
