July 11, 2003 -- It's time for El Monte RV to herd their cattle out of Texas, and they'd like you to be the cowboy (or cowgirl) for the job.

This highly-reputable RV company needs to move a slew of Class C and Class A motor homes, from 19-22 to 31-36 feet in length, from DFW airport outside of Dallas to Las Vegas, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

If you're willing to jump onboard and see one of these babies home by July 21, you can ride 'er for a mere $15 a day for the first five days, and then 50% off the regular daily rate afterwards. (50% off means at least $60 per day, depending on the size of your ride.)

You get 1,500 miles included, which will let you stop off at plenty of watering holes on the way to Denver, though it'll barely cover the distance to LA and won't get you to SF at all. If you're headed to California, you'll probably have to pick up an extra 500-mile package for $135.

You'll save the $350 drop-off charge, but you'll have to pay for the bedroom kits ($35, or bring your own sheets and towels), the kitchen kit ($80, or bring your own pots and pans), insurance and tax. Still, this is a hollerin' deal for wanna-be RVers in the Metroplex.

El Monte has quite a few steers they need to move, but supplies are limited, and in any case you'll have to take them up on this offer by July 16 to be able to meet the July 21 deadline. To reserve on this special deal, call 800/337-2141, or check out www.elmonterv.com for more details on these folks. Yee-hah!
