The Costa Cruise Line people are eager to fill up their cabins this December, particularly on a ship sailing on December 1, 8 and 15, 2002. On these voyages, ocean view cabins have been marked down to just $499 per person from the regular price of $1,399.
The prices are for double occupancy on the Costa Atlantica sailing to the Eastern Caribbean on December 1 and December 15, each time for 7 days out of Ft. Lauderdale. The prices include port charges but do not include airfare to Ft. Lauderdale.
Your itinerary on this cruise takes you to San Juan in Puerto Rico, Charlotte Amalie on St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands, Catalina Island in the Dominican Republic as well as Casa de Campo there, and Nassau in the Bahamas.
This package, as well as for that on the cruise described below to the Western Caribbean, includes your cabin, entertainment, daily activities, on-board meals and some beverages, and more. It does not include shore excursions, personal expenses, tips or alcoholic beverages. Government fees and taxes are not included and can cost from $5 to $110 per person. It also does not include a nonrefundable $15 processing fee.
Other sailings on the same ship depart through April 13, 2003, with prices running from $719 to $769 for an inside cabin, the New Year sailing on December 29 priced at $1199 for an inside cabin, per person rates throughout.
Cruising the Western Caribbean out of Ft. Lauderdale can also be as low as $499 per person for an ocean view cabin (again, $900 off the regular price) for the Costa Atlantica leaving on December 8, 2002. A price of $549 per person is available for the November 24 and January 5 (2003) sailings, too, also ocean view. On other sailings up to April 6, 2003, inside cabins run from $719 to $769 per person, the Christmas cruise (departing December 22) from $999 per person for an inside cabin.
The itinerary on this cruise includes Key West, Cozumel, Ocho Rios in Jamaica and George Town in Grand Cayman.
