Single Supplement Scrapped

Picasso Tours & Cruises (tel. 800/995-7997; www.picassotours.com) has eliminated the single supplement -- the additional fee that a solo traveler would pay -- on select cruises to the Greek Isles and Turkey aboard classic mid-size ships built in the 1970s and 1980s (and subsequently refurbished). This special is valid on new reservations only made through June 30, 2010. Single travelers or anyone who prefers a cabin to themselves can take advantage of the promotion (typically, cruise fares are based on double occupancy of a cabin, so singles often have to pay as much as twice the fare).
