MSC Cruises (www.msccruises.com) is offering Europe deals for next summer with its "Best Fare, Best Room" savings promotion. Rates start at $699 per person on select 7-night Europe cruises and $949 for 10-night and positioning cruises; kids 17 and younger sail free when sharing a stateroom with two full-fare-paying adults. Passengers receive the best available staterooms at the lowest price within their selected category at the time of booking. Fares are cruise-only and cannot be combined with any other discount or promotion.

NCL (tel. 866/234-7350; www.ncl.com) is doling out $300 on-board credits for those booking a suite through Feb 28, 2010. The deal applies to booking a penthouse, romance suite, owner's suite, deluxe owner's suite, courtyard villa or garden villa (and also courtyard penthouse and spa suites aboard new Norwegian Epic). The promotion is valid on new reservations booked at least nine months prior to sailing, with up to $300 in on-board spending credits per stateroom, based on cruise length.
