Two-for-one cruising on Azamara and Celebrity, perks from Regent and Costa, and a fleet of savings from the biggest cruise specialty agents.

Perks Aplenty

Costa Cruises (tel. 800/GO-COSTA; www.costacruises.com) is offering two free hotel night stays and transfers for passengers booking select 7- to 12-night Mediterranean cruises with airfare. This offer is available on sailings departing from Venice, Civitavecchia, and Savona between September 1 and November 30. Packages with 7-night cruise and roundtrip air from New York (JFK) and Newark, for example, begin at $1,652 per person. With the package, guests may choose from hotel stays either pre or post cruise (one day pre or two days post) at the Laguna Palace Mestre in Venice, the Hotel Claridge in Rome and the Hotel Bristol Palace in Savona. All transfers are included. The offer is available through May 31.

It's Tahiti Time with Regent

Regent Seven Seas (tel. 800/505-5370; www.rssc.com) is offering 7-night Tahiti cruises for as low as $2,195 per person. Sailing round-trip out of Papeete, Tahiti, aboard the elegant Paul Gauguin, bookings must be made by April 30, 2009, to be eligible for the low fares on sailings departing May 26; June 13, 20 and 27; July 4; and Aug 8, 15 and 22, 2009. The deal also includes the third guest in the cabin sailing free. Certain restrictions apply.

Sister Savings

Sister lines, Azamara Cruises (tel. 877/999-9553; www.azamaracruises.com) and Celebrity Cruises (tel. 800/437-3111; www.celebritycruises.com), are offering two-for-the-price-of-one rates for cruises booked through April 30, 2009, on a limited number of cabins on select Alaska and Europe sailings.

Aboard the 694-guest Azamara Journey and Azamara Quest, the "The Azamara Assurance" deal offers savings of up to 50% off published brochure rates on 21 different 7- to 15-night cruises sailing between May and November 2009 through the Mediterranean, the Greek Isles, the Black Sea, Western Europe, Iceland and Scandinavia/Russia. Sample discount fares for a 14-night "Best of Italy" cruise in a verandah stateroom (double occupancy) sailing on August 9, 2009, that was $3,999 per person is now $1,999 per person; and a seven-night Mediterranean cruise sailing on May 2, 2009, that was $2,099 per person, is now being offered at $1,049 per person.

Celebrity's "The Celebrity Starring You Promise" promotion offers savings of up to 51% off published brochure rates on 53 different cruises sailing in Alaska and Europe between May and September 2009. Alaska sailings range from seven to 13 nights aboard Celebrity Mercury, Infinity and Millennium; a 7-night "Southbound Alaska" cruise between Vancouver and Seward on June 5, 2009, that was $999 per person based on double occupancy in an inside stateroom, is now being offered at $499 per person. For select 10- to 14-night Europe cruises booked through April 30, 2009, reap savings such as a 12-night Mediterranean cruise on July 21, 2009, that was being offered at $2,199 per person for an inside stateroom, now going for $1,149 per person.

Both the Azamara and Celebrity offers include price protection; if Azamara or Celebrity publish a lower price for the same stateroom category on the same sailing that you previously booked, the guest must call Azamara/Celebrity to verify eligibility for the lower price. A limited number of special rate programs are excluded. Guests or their travel agents must make their requests for a price adjustment no later than 48 hours prior to sailing by calling Azamara/Celebrity. Other terms and conditions apply.
