Wine and Dine

American Safari Cruises (tel. 888/862-8881; www.amsafari.com) is offering up to $500 per person savings on all-inclusive 8-night cruises on the Columbia and Snake rivers sailing from Lewiston, Idaho, to Astoria, Oregon, departing Sept 30, Oct. 8 and Oct. 16 aboard the 36-passenger Safari Explorer. Noted sommelier David LeClaire will sail along on the Oct. 16 special wine and culinary cruise and introduce fine wines during onboard food and wine pairings and will also accompany guests on off-yacht private and exclusive tastings at five wineries on shore.
