If you book early, you're likely to get one of the incredible rates being offered now for winter cruises on Disney Cruise Lines. The three-night cruises start at just $419 per adult, $199 per child.

You can book four-night and even seven-night cruises, too, but the promotional prices are likely to go fast, so think about signing up now. Four-night cruises start at $519 for adults, $299 for children aged 3-12 traveling with two adults in the same stateroom. The rates for adults, of course, are based on double occupancy. Government taxes and fees and excursions are not included, but the stateroom, port charges, all meals and most beverages are. The rates cited above are for categories 11 & 12 aboard the ship.

The three-night rate mentioned is valid for most sailings commencing January 9, 2003 and running through February 6, 2003. The four-night rate is valid for most sailings commencing January 12, 2003 and ending January 26, 2003.

All trips stop at Castaway Cay, Disney's private island. Each of Disney ?s ships, the Magic and the Wonder, has 875 staterooms, all quite spacious by cruiseship standards. Each vessel is 964 feet long and weighs 83,000 gross tons. There are four dining rooms, and the activities for children are divided into three appropriate age groups. Activities are planned for adults, too! Three theaters provide entertainment, and there's an Internet Cafe for checking your e-mail or having real chats as well as those online. Beat Street and Route 66 provide nightlife venues, ranging from comedian stand-ups to disco, piano duos to live rock n' roll bands.
