Bay Head is as well known for collecting shells and sea glass, biking on the village streets and watching ducks in the Twilight Lake wildlife preserve as it is for more active sport, such as windsurfing, water skiing, power and sail boating, and crabbing.
The comfortable-as-an-old-shoe Bentley Inn, with 21 rooms, is near the Atlantic beaches, as well as to antique shops, auction houses and galleries, not to mention restaurants. The price specials are for

- Weekday specials, during which you can stay Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights for the price of two nights (valid until November 3, 2002) and
- Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day weekends, during which you pay for three nights and stay a fourth night for half price (valid during 2002).
