Hotels offer the most savings, some as much as 25% off their rack rates including Scottish Inns and the Best Western Admiral's Inn (I've stayed there and I highly recommend it), some as little as 10% off (El Jon Motel) and in the middle a 20% discount at the participating Holiday Inn Lakeland, Best Western Diplomat, Days Inn Kissimmee West and Royalty Inn. At most places, the discounts are not valid during holidays or special events.
Other hotel discounts include the Lake Ida Beach Resort in Winter Haven, where you get five nights for the price of four, or Lekarica Country Inn in Lake Wales, where you get two nights at the rack rate and a third night at 50% off with a complimentary breakfast thrown in. At the fabulously kitschy Chalet Suzanne Country Inn & Restaurant, also in Lake Wales, buy two nights and get a third night free, with complimentary breakfast for two.
If you don't want a hotel room, then condos and homes are up for grabs as well with some giving up a free seventh night for a fully paid six while others are offering 10-25% or dollar-specific ($30-40 off per night) discounts. RV parks and campgrounds specials round out your lodging options.
You get a free dip of homemade ice cream at the sole participating restaurant, the Bread Bowl Cafe in Lake Hamilton.
Attractions offering discounts include Cypress Gardens, offering $6 off their regular charges for adult and child; Theatre Winter Haven, with 2-for-1 tickets on day of show only, subject to availability; and Exploration V Children's Museum, where one adult can get in with a paid child's admission.
