The price reflects the October 6 and 13 departures, along with the April 13 and 20 departures for 2010, calculated based on flights out of Los Angeles (add $100 if you depart from New York City). You'll fly into and out of Bangkok and stay at the Century Park Hotel and will be greeted with a welcome dinner. While in the capital, you'll visit Buddhist temples and have two full days at your own pace to explore the city. Other destinations include the ancient capital, Ayutthaya to visit more ancient monuments and temples. This portion of the trip takes you through the countryside full of rice paddies along the way to northern Thailand. The final two destinations include Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai, to experience Burmese crafts, elephant camps, and indigenous cultures in hillside villages.
