Get with the Prague-gram: Plan Now for Air and Hotel Packages for Spring and Fall

There is a mystique and majesty about the capital of the Czech Republic. Perhaps it's the physical beauty of Prague, with its classical architecture, cobblestone streets and impressive boulevards, or maybe it's the 11 centuries of colorful history that saw it became the home of Bohemian kings, the playground of the Habsburg family and a provincial capital of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.

The city's historic center was included in UNESCO's World Heritage List in 1992 and the following year, the former country of Czechoslovakia split into two with Prague becoming the capital city of the new Czech Republic.
