It's a great deal for families because children 17 and under stay for just $30 per person, per night., at Viva resorts. The price includes unlimited drinks, cocktails and wine, taxes and gratuities, daily activities, nightly entertainment, unlimited use of non-motorized water sports.
The Fortuna Beach property, which is situated on 26 acres, is undergoing the first phase of a renovation this fall of its 276 guest rooms, which will receive new fixtures, furniture, lighting and d?cor, new windows, air conditioning systems, beds, mattresses, and drapes. The activity should not disrupt you during the Thanksgiving holiday, according to company representatives. The resort, which is Grand Bahama Island's only all-inclusive property, recently added an a-la-carte Asian restaurant and refurbished its Italian restaurant. The Viva Maya property was renovated in 2006, has several restaurants on site and two separate pools; children are not permitted at one of them, which makes for a quieter lounge time for those who seek it. And of course there's that crystal blue water whose color does not ever, ever seem real. You can be as active as you want at either property, with a range of activities available to guests such as swimming, diving, snorkeling, playing tennis, bicycling, kayaking, sailing, etc.
