These flights operate on Thursdays from New York. When you get to Malaga the next morning, you will be in the birthplace of Pablo Picasso and the gateway to many of Spain's Mediterranean resorts, as well as to the dignified, yet exotic, cities and white hill towns of romantic Andalusia. Malaga itself is nothing to sneeze at (as resident "snowbirds" from northern Europe are wont to say), having an elegant history all its own, with churches, arcades and plazas to prove it.
The Petrabax packages give you six nights at the Hotel Cervantes or a similar first-class hotel in one of the resort towns along the Costa del Sol. You can upgrade to deluxe accommodations if you wish, the giant Melia Don Pepe being available for a supplement of $300 for the six nights, for instance. The packages do not include breakfast or hotel taxes, nor do they include airport departure taxes, the new security tax and fees (the latter three mentioned now come to about $75 additional). The $599 price is good for departures through May 30, 2002. Certain restrictions apply.
