Three Nights in Scottsdale, from $600 With Air

Looking for some sun or a spa getaway? This Delta Vacations package to Scottsdale will save you $143.50 per person

Delta Vacations (tel. 800/800-1504; www.deltavacations.com) sends you to Scottsdale in May, from $600 for airfare and three nights' hotel.

The Montelucia Resort and Spa is at the foothills of Camelback Mountain. Hang out by one of three pools, or book guided hikes or horseback rides.

Why is this a deal? Round-trip Delta flights from Los Angeles to Phoenix start at $128 per person for a mid-week May departure. If you were to book a deluxe resort-view room, three nights come to $1,231 with taxes and resort fee, or $615.50 per person. Booking airfare and hotel separately would cost you $743.50 per person. This package saves you $143.50 per person.

Trip Type: Air-inclusive; independent

What the Quoted Price Gets You: Round-trip airfare between Los Angeles and Phoenix; three nights in a deluxe resort-view room at the Montelucia Resort and Spa in Scottsdale, fuel surcharges, and all government and hotel taxes/fees (including $24 per day daily resort fee).
