May 28, 2003 -- Two well-known travel companies have come up with separate promotions for travelers of a certain age. Contiki, which specializes in travel for the 18-to-35 crowd, is cutting a clean $100 bucks off tours to Australia and offering two-for-one fares for tours to Europe. Younger than that? Look to Superclubs, which is waiving fees for kids under 14 at three of their properties when accompanied by a paying adult.
You might know Contiki from its product placements on MTV. The cast of Real World: Las Vegas used to the packager for their trip down-under, and now the outfit is extending a $100 discount for multi-day packages to Oz. Heck, you can even hang with Trishelle and Steven from the show with the July 27 departure. Land-only prices range from $750 for an 11-day trek to $1,400 for a full two-week journey. You must book by May 31 and use code MTVRW to take advantage of the $100 discount.
Additionally, Contiki is having a "Friends Fly Free" promotion on its European tours when you book by June 6, 2003. Among those deals are a 14-day Spanish Highlights package, which includes Madrid, Barcelona, San Sebastian and Ibiza, starting from $994; and a 20-day Britain & Southern Ireland program that takes in London, Dublin, Edinburgh and Stonehenge, priced from $1,586.

SuperClubs
The energetic SuperClubs chain has put forth for your consideration some affordable family vacations at their Breezes Resorts in Curacao and the Dominican Republic, wherein kids stay free this summer and fall, with varying dates at the three spots in question. Throughout the promotion, the resorts in those two nations will waive their usual $50 daily rate for kids between the ages of 2 and 13 inclusive (one child per paying adult).
The "Kids Stay, Play & Eat Free" program at Breezes Curacao runs from through October 31, 2003. The same program at Breezes Dominican Republic resorts operates from through December 24, 2003. Week-long trips for a family of four start at $1,470 in Curacao and $1,092 in the Dominican Republic. That's based on seven-night stays, land-only, with children under 14 years of age.
These are all-inclusive resorts, the price covering rooms, all meals, snacks and premium brand cocktails, unlimited use of all sports facilities (including equipment rental and instruction), entertainment, recreational activities, and hotel taxes, with no tipping allowed. The two resorts in the Dominican Republic are Breezes Punta Cana and Breezes Puerto Plata. At Punta Cana, there's a huge swimming pool, catamaran sailing, ice skating, and more. At Puerto Plata, kids may like the huge pool, a rockclimbing wall and bicycling.
