The Dezerland is located in the heart of Miami on the beach, featuring a lobby ideally suited to car nuts (don't trip over the Cadillac parked in the middle) and chockablock with moderne memorabilia from that era. While the lobby is something else, the completely retooled rooms -- named for classic cars -- are simple but clean. As you'll note from the name, there's a spa as well, a whole 15,000-square-foot of spa, in fact, where you can shvitz in one of four steam rooms, get a full beauty makeover or sweat under the "stern" eye of a private trainer.
