Tahiti Nui Travel (www.tahitinuitravel.com or phone them in Tahiti at 689/54 06 72) has several diving packages good throughout 2004. Prices are for land only and start at $1130 for seven nights on Moorea, at $1225 for seven nights at Raiatea-Taha'a, and seven nights on Rangiroa from $1457. They say they will help you find the best airline fares to add to your land-only package.
South Seas Adventures
If you go to the South Seas Adventures website (www.south-seas-adventures.com; 800/576-7327), you'll find several specials. These range from $1200 for land-only stays at selected Fiji resorts, to higher-priced deals that include airfare. One higher-priced stay is at the Qamea Resort & Spa in Fiji, where you pay for six nights, and stay for seven, from $3120 per person, valid through December 31, 2004.
