Web viewers like yourself know how frustrating it is to try to get together many different sources of information about a place you're thinking of visiting, or even more so, when you can' make up your mind and want lots of information about many different spots. That problem is easily resolved with this Des Moines based company, whose online site claims to be the world's largest free travel information site.

On Freetravelinfo.net, you can find information on thousands of travel destinations across North America and the Caribbean. The site also has booking capabilities for flights, hotels and the like.

There are three steps to getting the free information: choose the travel categories you're interested in (or don't select any for the most results, select a destination and then click on "Go." After that, you simply check the radio buttons for the brochures you're interested in and place your order to have them mailed to you.

Under "Florida attractions," for instance, the list proved to be just 34 places long, from Amelia Island Plantation (a resort, not an attraction) to Wet 'n Wild Orlando. Most seem to be major spots, such as Universal Studios in Orlando, but some seem fairly minor, as in the Henry Ford Winter Home in Ft. Myers, and a couple are just boring, like the Mall at Millenia in Orlando or the Bayside Marketplace in Miami, neither of the malls being an "attraction," in my opinion.
