April 11 -- Austrian Airlines doesn't mind if you don't feel like visiting Paris this spring and is proud to say it loves the USA. To prove it, this company and the Renaissance Hotel in Vienna are offering a great deal, $499 from New York and three nights in the Capital of Waltzes, with daily buffet breakfast, hotel service charges and hotel taxes thrown in. But only for the month of May.

Though that's the price from New York's JFK airport, an additional $30 per person will take you to Vienna from Washington, D.C.'s Dulles Airport. And additional departure cities, combinations and extensions, as well as upgrades, are available on request. The deal is for economy class travel and is per person, based on two people traveling together. The single supplement is $140. You must book no later than April 30.

The package involves a Saturday overnight, and seats and availability are. For travel on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, add $35 per person, one way. Prices do not include airport fees, which could amount to as much as $117.42 per person, depending on the itinerary. Also, additional taxes and fees may be collected by foreign governments. All taxes, fees and surcharges are subject to change and exchange rate fluctuations and may vary on the day of booking. Transfers between hotel and airport not included, either.

Remember, above all: May is beautiful in Alte Wien, as composers have reminded us for hundreds of years.
