Hard on the heels of the success of the film, My Big Fat Geek Wedding, comes the Sheraton Four Points hotel group, which wants to fill their rooms with happy people on weekends. To this end, if you book between now and April 20, 2003, for a weekend stay, they'll give you a free DVD of the film. Not enough incentive for you? Better yet then, some rooms start as low as $59 a night. And you should spend much of your time laughing at this film, whether you think it's "the #1 romantic comedy of all time," as the Four Points people believe, or just want to show your respect for the "highest grossing independent movie ever made," as everyone says (that's $230 million at the box office).

About 100 of the Four Points hotels are participating, and you should know that Four Points is the "mid-priced brand" of the giant Starwood Chain, which owns such sub chains as the St. Regis, The Luxury Collection, Sheraton, Westin, W brands and more. Unlike many "mid-brand" chains, the Four Points by Sheraton are all full-service properties, with room service, on-premise restaurants and a fitness facility.

With rates starting as low as $59 per room per night, guests can book a two-night weekend stay (Friday through Sunday) that includes a 4 PM late checkout, free meals for children 12 and under, with children aged 17 and under staying free in the parents' room, as well as that free DVD, of course.

In each DVD package, there is a 50% discount offer from Four Points by Sheraton offering that much off on future stays at its 118 hotels in the USA and Canada, valid through February 11, 2004.

For more information and reservations and to book online, go to www.fourpoints.com, or phone 800/368-7764 and mention promo code EWFFRR. Some restrictions apply (terms and conditions on the Web site).
