Offpeak, C'est Magnifique! Budget Packager Adds Gay Paree to its Ever-Growing Roster. Prices Start at Just $399

We were the first to introduce you to Rodney Ezrapour's online-only powerhouse of budget-minded vacations, Offpeak Traveler, way back in July last year when he began offering those cheapie London jaunts that started a full-fledged price war. Now the company has chalked in "Paris" on its slate, and the price is wacky low.

You can get roundtrip airfare and six-nights accommodations in the City of Light starting from just $399 for departures out of Newark on Air India if you can fly out on February 1, 4 or 6, 2003. The base price jumps $40 to a still-stellar $439 for all other dates. Other gateways are available on United for higher--but still affordable--prices; Philadelphia is $568, Chicago is $608 and San Francisco comes in at $669 for Feb 1-March 25 departures. If you're not doing the math yourself, these all fall significantly under the budget threshold of $150 a day. Base prices do not include taxes and security fees. Departures are daily and prices are based on two people traveling together.
