Getting There -- From Savannah, head west, following the signs to I-95; you’ll take the highway south until the Brunswick turnoff.
Six miles north of downtown, Brunswick Golden Isles Airport (tel. 912/264-9200; www.flygcairports.com) is served by Delta Connection (tel. 800/221-1212 or 912/267-1325; www.delta.com). It offers flights to Brunswick from Atlanta (37 min.) several times daily. At the small airport, car rental agencies are available, including Avis (tel. 912/638-2232; www.avis.com) and Hertz (tel. 912/265-3645; www.hertz.com). Shuttle service into town is provided by Sea Island (tel. 912/638-3611) and FLETC (tel. 912/267-2100).
Visitor Information -- The Golden Isles Convention & Visitors Bureau operates a welcome center located at I-95 southbound, between exits 42 and 38 (tel. 912/264-0202; www.goldenisles.com), open Monday to Saturday 9am to 5pm and Sunday 1 to 5pm.
