The Smith Opera House, 82 Seneca St. (tel. 866/355-LIVE or 315/781-5483; www.thesmith.org), is the coolest after-dark spot in town. Whether you catch a concert, such as Blues Traveler or the Dave Matthews Band, or see a movie on its huge screen, this 1930s gem is just a fantastic place to hang out. There's a neat little bar downstairs, but it doesn't serve alcohol during film sessions. The Geneva Summer Arts Festival (July-Aug) features dance, theater, music, and art exhibits. Among the performances, held at several venues including the Smith Opera House, are Lakefront Gazebo concerts, featuring everything from jazz to choral music. For a schedule of events, ask at the Visitor Information Center, contact tel. 866/355-LIVE, or visit www.genevarts.com. The restaurant Hamilton 258, 258 Hamilton St. (tel. 315/781-5323), has a cool martini bar.
