Frommer's Review
A sprawling oasis, the Hyatt is one of the largest of Acapulco's hotels, although no longer as modern as many other resorts. The buzzing lobby encloses a sitting area and bar where there's live music every evening. A free-form pool fronts a broad stretch of beach with calm waters, one of the most inviting in Acapulco. The guest rooms are beginning to show their age, but they also have balconies with spectacular views of Acapulco Bay. Some contain kitchenettes. Regency Club guests receive continental breakfast, afternoon canapés, and other upgraded amenities. This hotel caters to a large Jewish clientele and has a full-service kosher restaurant, synagogue, and Sabbath elevator. Cruise passengers docking in Acapulco often stay here as well. The Alory Spa offers a broad menu of spa services and massage treatments.
