This eight-floor modern hotel is one of the most convenient in Alicante, 320m (1,050 ft.) from the harbor and convenient to both the rail and bus depots. Opening in 1992, it underwent massive renovations in 2005, retaining its contemporary ambience and inviting quality. Its guest rooms are midsize for the most part and attractively decorated and furnished, each adjoined by a well-maintained bathroom with tub and shower. The on-site restaurant is a good choice for its fresh Mediterranean fish platters, rice dishes, and grilled meats. Some of its food is inspired by the Basque kitchen.
